AVSCET has entered its ninth year of age. This was the creation of Sri. S.V. Sivagnanom, a philanthropist from Chennai in 2002 in a forty acre area away from the multi-channel pollution with a main motto of embracing students from rural background and making them successful engineers with synchronizing compatibility. The management of the college with Sri S. Natrajan as its correspondent is aware and realizes that core engineering education requires application skills to gain social relevance.

Communal and communication skills, decision making like managerial proficiency through personality development go to give engineering course a Professional touch. The vision of the college in its comprehensiveness covers all this establishing a well mastered learning process.

AVSCET is spearheading into the academic year 2011-12 with engineering branches viz., EEE, ECE, CSE, IT and CIVIL under B.Tech. stream and M.Tech.CSE under post graduation stream

The management of AVSCET introduced financial incentive scheme to its meritorious students from 2010-11. Students from all branches of engineering would receive the benefit subject to satisfaction of certain formalities

From a different perspective, one can understand the college endeavor in supporting the students for their placements through its collaboration with the famous HCL Company. College sincerely hopes to find as many employment opportunities as possible through all available means of approach. There is a separate department under the supervision and control of experienced persons called ‘East Point Services’

The college administration includes besides Principal, a Hon. Director with 36 years of standing and a Hon. Adviser with 35 years of rich experience in the field of education. We believe in close interaction with the parents regarding the students’ progress.
